DRIVING THEORY TEST

The Theory test comprises of the following

50 x multiple choice questions (Pass Mark =43)

14 x Hazard perception videos. (Pass Mark = 44)

You must complete both sections and pass both parts, to successfully pass your theory test.
We recommend plenty of practice and suggest you purchase relevant supporting books, e literature and relevant APPs onto your device so that you can practice.

Now that you've been practising and scoring those high pass marks, it's time to book you theory test.

PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST

Your theory pass certificate now gives you a 2 year window to successfully pass your practical driving test.
You should be be training and skilling up in the physical side of driving if you already haven't started. Either a full manual or automatic only driving test application the choice is yours.

The Driving test follows a structure lasting approximately 40 mins, you will be assessed by a DVSA EXAMINER, at the time and location of your choosing.

The Examiner will conduct the test as per DVSA guidelines, usually beginning at the test centre and finishing back at the test centre of your choosing.
At the end of the test, your scores will be marked and totalled up and then if you are successful you will be given a blue A5 size Pass certificate and an email confirmation of your passing. This means you can drive for then on (as long as you are insured).
The Examiners will keep your provisional and send it to DVLA who will issue you your full license. (usually comes within 3 weeks in the post)

The Ready to Pass is a great campaign and resource for you to understand more about the driving test and where you need to be to pass the test.

We offer a driving theory test and practical test booking service, for people who require it.
Contact us via email with your details and requirements together with locations and times that are suitable for you. Together with your driving license details and our admin staff will begin the search for an earlier test where possible and be in touch where necessary.

This service has an admin fee of £40, in addition to the DVSA test fees.
The admin fee is also subject to change if test is on a bank holiday or Weekend as there is a supplement charge by the DVSA.

Note! If the DVSA cancels your test, the DVSA will move your test to an alternative date and time and you will be responsible to manage that. We will not be held responsible for any changes from the DVSA side. This service is a admin booking service only and we recommend that once your test has been secured and payments have been made, then you must update your contact information to ensure you are uptodate with any changes that could occur.
